Anna-isms Part 5

November 2016:

Kenny: “If you keep losing teeth and the tooth fairy comes, you’ll be rich.”
Anna: “I’ll be rich but I won’t have any teeth!”

Often when the kids see Kenny and I hugging, one of them will come join and call the other one to come.  While we were all hugging one time, Anna said, “It’s a tornado of hugs!”

From Sunday school:
Anna: “Shadrach, Michigan, and A-Van-A-Go” (Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego from Daniel 3)

March 2017:

Kenny: “You know, it’s part of my job to teach you how to do things on your own as you grow up.”
Anna: “Yeah, I really want to learn origami.”

There are certain foods that Anna doesn’t like because of their texture or messiness. Foods that most kids want in a heartbeat.  To Anna, Jello is too wiggly and slimy and Rice Krispie bars and Smores are too sticky and messy.

May 2017:

Anna gave me three little pieces of paper that she’d drawn on and decorated. She said they were a Mother’s Day gift, they were pictures of things I do for her.  One was for helping her when she ran into the fence on her bike, another one was me caring for her, and the third, playing with her.  So sweet.  I pulled her onto my lap and gave her a big hug, told her thank you and how much I love her, and she said, “Now I have two persons in my heart.  You and God.  Well, my whole family and God.” Oh, Anna-girl. My cup overflows.
