In April we finally got around to re-decorating our guest room!  We replaced the carousel ceiling fan, painted the room, added curtains, side tables, lamps, a clock, and hooks behind the door.   It is much more comfortable now for guests and a bit nicer to look at.  Come visit and stay with us!

We finished the room just in time for our first round of guests in May, and have several more friends and family coming over the summer and fall.  Like any home improvement project, Kenny was quick to involve the kids – they helped us prep and paint and did a great job!

Before we painted I wrote in pencil a few verses on the walls – praying this room and our home will be a blessing to those who stay in it.

Numbers 6:24-26 – The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD lift up his countenance on you and give you peace.

1Thessalonians 5:11 – So encourage each other and build each another up, just as you are already doing.
