Kenny’s Lights

I meant to post about this months ago!

In March, Kenny helped our church install new lights in the sanctuary.  He’s been suggesting they update the lighting there for years and this was the year to do it!  He was asked to put together a bid which was approved, then he helped install them and set up the new board.  He did a fabulous job.  I was so proud of him! There is now capability to light the stage really well and see everyone there, as well as use color!

The new lights were finished just in time for the big Easter production and they added so much to the drama of the show.

James sat in the booth for this show and as always, loved being in on the action.

A few months later, Kenny designed and ran the lights for the church’s production of Oliver.  James wanted to be there again to help set up.  In a few years, Kenny will have another lighting crew member!

I’m still very grateful for the opportunities Kenny has to design, hang, and run lights.  It really is a passion for him – something he really enjoys, and is a wonderful outlet to not only unwind from his normal day-to-day work, but also to use the gifts the Lord has blessed him with.  One day I’d love to see him act on stage again.  I think the kids need to see what other talents daddy has!

  1. I would love to see him act again. Always so proud of him. Our sanctuary has always been so beautiful but more so with all of Kenny’s hard work.

  2. Well done, Kenny! You are a man of many talents…the church will benefit from this one for years to come!
