This week I plan to share a few posts about things we did before all of this craziness started.  

We had already planned to go to Nebraska in March, so we decided to still go.  In hindsight, I’m so glad we did.  Who knew that trip would be so crucial before weeks and weeks of staying home.

Some highlights from our time with G’ma & Pa…

We played lots of card games together.  The kids are really becoming great card players.  We continued with Euchre and also taught them Pitch!

Anna started an embroidery project with G’ma last year sometime.  This trip, they worked on getting Anna’s embroidery string organized. 

We enjoyed spending time at the lake on a few different days.  Anna even braved her swimsuit!  

The kids had lots of fun racing slot cars at the shop with Dad and Pa.

We spent some time at the park.

James and I celebrated our birthdays early with G’ma’s famous orange angel-food cake.  So delicious!

And, for a laugh, some funny pictures Kenny and the kids created while we were there.
