This fall, James has been CRAZY over pumpkins! He LOVES them! He says “pumm” every time he sees one, and can spot them a mile away. Seriously. Even in the car he yells “pumm” and I try desperately to find it while staying on the road. 🙂
This year, we took James to a quaint little place in town to pick out a pumpkin. Right in the midle of town, this man has a wonderful shop next to his house and a big, beautiful yard to display pumpkins in the fall, and Christmas trees in a few weeks. He sells tons of birdhouses, birdfeed, yard ornaments, etc. and we had a great time there one afternoon.
After our pumpkin sat on the front step for several weeks, we decided it was time to carve it. We had a great time, and towards the end of taking pictures, discovered that James understands ‘say cheese’! How much easier to take pics now! Hopefully it will last!
How fun, Jessica! We haven’t carved our pumpkin yet, but Natalie loves seeing them around, too. Is James going to dress up this year? Our kids are a fireman and a ladybug, respectively.
Yes, James has a very cute lion costume to wear. He really doesn’t enjoy wearing it, so if he can keep it on longer than 30 seconds we’ll try to at least get a picture and call it good! 🙂
Isn’t it a blast to carve pumpkins! Cute pics!
