My friend, Amy, came to visit over July 4th last year.  We have been friends since college days and still manage to keep in touch.  Amy is an incredibly loyal and devoted friend, taking the time to fly to CO to visit over the years.  I am so very grateful.  She knows the issues I have flying, so would rather come here than entertain a sick friend at her place.

We had a great time while she was here.  We grilled for the 4th and made red velvet cupcakes with blueberries.  Amy made her infamous egg rolls; James was her sous-chef. And, Kenny, Amy, and I spent one evening in Denver enjoying great food together.

The kids LOVED having Amy here and warmed up to her quickly.  She even took them shopping for new T-shirts!

Thanks for visiting Amy!  We look forward to seeing you next July 4th!
