Having a jam session is one of our favorite activities to do as a family.  Dad on guitar, mom on piano, James on drums, Anna on shaker or tambourine, and everyone on vocals.

We’ve been attending the new contemporary service at church for over a year now, and the kids have really gotten into worship.  They LOVE watching the drummer, and James has picked up quite a few things just watching him.  James now plays with more dynamics, is learning when drums are appropriate in a song, and how to obtain different sounds.  Both kids are remembering quite a few song lyrics, too, which is so much fun.  Hearing a worship song belted out from the bathroom definitely brings a smile!

Maybe the von Knapp family singers should go on tour!
