St. Paddy’s Day

Event #2 in our house this week.  The kids and I talked about St. Patrick on Monday and the work he did to spread Christianity.  See last year’s blog post for more info on that.

The highlight was definitely all of the fun food we had!  Green scrambled eggs for breakfast (James looks a little unsure about the eggs in the photo), Green Monster Smoothies for lunch, and an Irish feast for dinner.  Corned beef, cabbage with bacon, broiled potatoes, Irish Soda bread, and shamrock cookies.  So yummy!

  1. Wow, nice job, Jess! My St. Patrick’s Day celebration consisted of wearing shamrock earrings and serving the kids Lucky Charms for breakfast. =)

    • That’s awesome, Carrie! They probably would have preferred Lucky Charms to the green eggs. 🙂 James almost didn’t even eat with us. 🙂
