Our church performed “The Living Last Supper” this past weekend in preparation for Easter. Kenny designed the lights for this show, hung all of the equipment, and ran lights during the two performances. He did an outstanding job, as always! I was able to attend the show and thoroughly enjoyed it. What a wonderful, thoughtful, and humbling way to begin Holy Week.
The play consisted of various pieces by the choir and orchestra in addition to monologues by each of the twelve disciples. The play takes place in the upper room during Passover, right after Jesus announces that one of the twelve will betray Him. It is an honest and moving look at each disciple: who he was and how he reacted to the news. “Could it be I?”
Praying each of you enjoy a blessed Easter!
Very neat–and I heard you had some great company to sit with! =)
