In June, we took a day trip to Denver and had a great time.  We had a list a things we wanted to do, but had time for only a few.  I guess we’ll have to plan another trip!

We visited a Lego store for the first time which was a lot of fun.  Both kids picked out a new set which might have been the highlight of the day.

Since the Lego store was in the mall, we checked out the cool fountain, and rode the escalator for fun.

We had lunch at Casa Bonita – always a fun time.  Kenny calls it Mexican Disneyland. Definitely a fun atmosphere, but mediocre food.  This was the first time here for the kids and they had a blast.  Cliff divers, an arcade, and amazing sopapillas for dessert.

And lastly, we visited Grandma Lucile’s grave before heading home.

A fun, full day!
