The kids built a ship a few days ago in our living room. A rescue ship that rescues animals. Actually, the structure started as a fort with a sheet hung over the top and has now morphed into a ship. The ship is complete with a small kitchen, food, and medicine for the animals. Yesterday, James mentioned that he wanted to add something to the ship to make it more awesome. He was thinking about making some signs, but then Dad came in with some Christmas lights for the ship! The kids were beyond excited. So, we strung the lights around the perimeter of the ship which definitely made it more awesome. James and Anna have been playing with this for several days now. I’m impressed with not only how well they’re playing WITH each other, but also their creativity and imaginations. Amazing.
