Last summer we started a new, fun tradition in our family. We started going on dates with our kids! They have been a highlight and the kids continue to ask to do it again. We LOVE spending time with them one-on-one!
In June, Kenny took Anna to a Daddy/Daughter night at Chick-fil-A complete with meeting a princess and having a carriage ride! What a special night for them.
Meanwhile, James and I headed to our favorite pancake house for a scrumptious dinner together.
In October, Anna and I enjoyed dinner at a diner followed by an evening of looking at books at Barnes & Noble. And, since it was Girl’s Night Out, we had to get dressed up!
The boys enjoyed Mexican food for dinner and then found a nerf-gun place – Dart Wars. A fun night out for our manly guys!
And finally, this week, Anna and Daddy went to a cool painting place. They painted a plate, the store will fire it this week, and they can pick it up in a few days.
After Anna’s trip to the book store last fall, James decided he would like to do that, too. So, we spent the evening looking at so many interesting books. He settled on a fun paint book to take home with us.
