This past Christmas was a special one…my entire immediate family was together! We have not all been together since Martin and Sienna joined the family, so we were very excited.
We picked Mom and Dad up and saw Great Grandpa Ed on the way…
We found lots of ways to stay entertained on the long drive…
And we finally made it to Wisconsin!
Our time together was really wonderful…cousins reconnecting and getting to know one another again…
Delicious food to eat…
Loving on Baby Sienna Joy…
A day trip to Chicago to the Museum of Science and Industry…
A lovely walk on the beach and a lighthouse visit…
And quality time with siblings.
Brian and Lindsay were such gracious hosts – what a joy to live life with them if even for just a week.
They lined up a wonderful house for us to stay at while we were there.
On Christmas Eve we left milk and cookies for Santa, and hoped he would find us in WI!
He did! Then we headed to meet the rest of the family to exchange gifts.
Our family isn’t perfect by any means, but we DO enjoy being together and treasure the times we make new memories together.
While it was very hard saying goodbye again, our time together was wonderful and so worth the drive!
