Well, here we are again. About six months since my last post. I keep telling myself not to stress about the fact that I can’t keep up with blogging, but it’s always there in the back of my mind. This is something I really WANT to stay on top of but I just haven’t found a way to make it a priority yet. Not only do I enjoy it, but I really do want to have a complete account of the kids’ early years. All that to say, I’m going to try to get back into it. Starting again right before the holidays? Probably not the best plan, but oh well. Gotta jump back in when I’m feeling motivated!
Life is good. Life is busy most days, but I think we have a healthy balance of slowing as a family in the midst of it all. We make time for fun and being together on a regular basis which is a necessity. I’m incredibly grateful for my family and the life God has gifted me with. They are a joy to me every day!
James is tackling first grade with gusto! He’s doing so well, loves his classmates and teacher, and is learning so much. He is still adjusting to being in school all day, is very responsible when it comes to homework, and recently lost another tooth!
Anna is my partner in crime while James is at school. We have so much fun together. We play hard, we work hard, and we always look forward to picking James up from school. She attends ballet class once a week and is becoming quite the little dancer!
So there’s a quick snapshot into our lives right now. I’d love to back track and post about our summer and fall, but we’ll see. Baby steps.
Glad to see these pix! I’m thinking Anna’s birthday is in the next week, also–hope it’s a wonderful celebration!
