I’ve written before about our friends, the McClures and the Bryants.  These two families are dear, dear friends of ours.  Close to 20 years ago we all became good friends, each couple then married as we saw which friend in the group God had for us, and later each couple had a family.  We raised our kids together and in that process, our friendships grew even deeper.

Two years ago we said goodbye to the McClures as the army moved them to VA.   Now their next adventure with the army takes them to Africa.  They were home briefly this summer to say goodbye again and we had a wonderful evening together.  All 13 of us.

When it was late and time for kids to go to bed, we chose instead to put a movie on for all of them so the six of us could continue talking.  A beautiful evening of catching up and making more memories.
