This post is quite late as James turned seven in April, but I still wanted to record his birthday here.  I still can’t believe he’s seven years old!  James requested a Lego birthday party, so that’s what we did.  We used many of his Lego creations to decorate and it was his idea to make a Lego brick cake by frosting Oreo cookies to lay on top of the cake. Brilliant idea.  We had a wonderful time celebrating with family and a few neighbor friends. By the end of the party we had snow; just like seven years ago when we joined our family! Happy Birthday, son; we love you!
