Anna’s Preschool Christmas Program
Anna SO enjoyed performing in her Christmas program in December. She did a wonderful job and we were thrilled to see her on stage. It was a special morning of the performance plus a craft time and cookies together.
Cub Scout Christmas Party
At James’s cub scout party we enjoyed a potluck meal together, flag ceremony, some games and crafts, and a visit from Santa. Actually, James wasn’t interested in seeing Santa until he heard that he would receive his Pinewood Derby Car kit after telling Santa what he wanted for Christmas. So, we quickly got in line and all had our picture taken with Santa. James also received his prize for popcorn sales – a model rocket kit!
Kenny’s Birthday
On Kenny’s birthday this year we gave him a gift and cards before he headed to work, and then celebrated later with family at Fargo’s Pizza. We love you, Dad!
Christmas Cookies
In the past, making sugar cookies has been a 3-day process. Make the dough and let it chill one day. Roll out and bake the cookies another day. And finally decorate on day three. With little kids it’s been impossible to complete it all in one day. However, this year was different! James and Anna can do so much more to help and we finished in one morning! So fun. While they were frosting and decorating they even broke out singing spontaneous Christmas carols together. Oh my heart.
