Where is my little boy going? A few weeks ago before church I snapped this pic of James because he looked so grown up to me. Maybe it’s the slicked back hair. Maybe it’s because he’s getting taller. Maybe it’s because he’s rocking 2nd grade.
A few weeks ago I asked James if he wanted to snuggle and he replied, “no”. (The first time I got a “no”!) I asked if he was getting too big to snuggle and he said, “Don’t worry mom, I’ll still ask to snuggle sometimes.”
While I know I’m going to terribly miss his little years, I can’t help but be excited to see the young man he becomes.
James, I’ve been praying for years for your heart, your love for Jesus, your spouse, your schooling and career, and I wait with anticipation to see all God will do in your life!
Yes, your little man is growing up! He will always be so very special and hopefully will still snuggle occasionally. We love you James and yes you are growing up too quickly for us, too!! Love, Pa and G’Ma Knapp
