Today was the first day of spring!  While it doesn’t look or feel like spring around here yet, Dairy Queen was handing out free vanilla cones so we stopped by!

A few weeks ago while Anna was at a friend’s house playing, James and I had lunch together and then made cookies.  He told me roughly what he wanted in his cookies, we looked for a recipe online with those ingredients, and then got to work.  Double Chocolate Oatmeal cookies (with butterscotch chips added on top) – amazing!  

The next week James had a friend over, so while the boys took apart an old computer, Anna and I spent some time together in the kitchen.
