Today James was playing in the kitchen cupboards, which is one of his favorite activities. He pulled out all of the cookie sheets, muffin pans, cake pans, etc. from one shelf in particular.
After pulling everything out, he glanced back in, looked at me, looked in again, and had this look on his face as if to say, ‘Well, there’s something else in there!’
He then crawled in head first, I heard the crinkling of the candy bag, then he backed out slowly, stood up with a big smile and produced the clothespin from the bag of candy. 🙂 That’s all he wanted! Forget the shiny bag of candy, just the clothespin!
James carried that treasured clothespin around with him for the rest of the afternoon. 🙂 Good times.
Too cute! (Why was the bag of Halloween candy opened already ?? 🙂 Just kidding, mine is, too!
And the other question was why was the candy allllllllll the way in the back of the cupboard?! 🙂 Wish I could have seen him with the coveted clothespin. He just kills me!!
To answer the questions about the candy…:)…Yes, Kenny and I broke into the Halloween candy weeks ago. And, because it was a HUGE temptation, I put it in the back of the cupboard. Out of sight, out of mind. 🙂
