Pumpkin Carving

This year both Anna and James had pumpkin carving events to attend with Kenny.  James carved his at a Cub Scouts meeting, and Anna had a pumpkin carving night at her preschool for the kids and their dads.  We printed templates for the Broncos logo and Olaf – and their pumpkins turned out great!  Thanks, Dad!

  1. Great idea to print templates! I hadn’t thought of that. My kids wanted to carve pumpkins but I said we were taking this year off.

    • Carrie, Yes, the templates are great – just print, tape onto pumpkin, and get started. Carving pumpkins is a huge job…usually the kids become uninterested and Kenny and I are left carving after they go to bed. Not cool. This year I was thrilled that Kenny would be handling it, and, James is finally old enough to carve his on his own with only a little help. I’m thinking painting pumpkins would be a fun alternative and a much quicker process. 🙂
