James has been reading books about World War I & II recently and created a bunker one day.  While I was reading in the same room a grenade came sailing towards me.  Never a dull moment! 

Our book club book this month, Infants of the Brush, was written by a friend of mine!  Kenny and I have known Amy for many years and it was so wonderful to catch up with her.  Last week she had dinner with us and then stayed for our book club meeting.  We so enjoyed talking with her and hearing the behind the scenes details of how she researched and wrote the book.  Fascinating.  If you’re looking for a good read, I highly recommend this one.

More snow and sledding fun

Anna has been saving her money for months to buy this little white puppy dog on a leash.  The dog walks, barks, whimpers, and wags his tail.  She was so excited and named her Chloe.  James says the dog should be called Yappie because it yaps so much.
