Trip Down Memory Lane

Recently Kenny and I both shared our individual testimonies at small group.  This summer our group is taking a break from studying and getting to know one another more through this process of sharing.

I spent roughly one to two hours working on this project and was surprised how long it took to work decade by decade, thinking through the important bits to share.  It was an emotional process too – a beautiful recounting of the many ways the Lord has been faithful in my life.  Very clear guidance in big decisions – my move to Colorado Springs after college, and His showing me that Kenny was to be my husband – as well as faithfulness and guidance in the smaller decisions.  I’m so very grateful.

If you haven’t done something like this, I’d encourage you to try it!  Even on a smaller scale – just jot down the big events and turning points in your life and look for how God led and was faithful.  It is such an encouraging process and is also a great tool in seeking thankfulness.
