A Quarantine Birthday

My birthday this year was a cold, blustery day and I LOVED it.  I think the snow was a special birthday gift from God just for me.

Most of our day was a normal schedule of school work, drums, ballet, and chores.  We celebrated in the evening with take out from Red Robin which was a fun treat.  And, I experimented making a birthday cake: a mint flavored angel-food cake with chocolate frosting and mint chip ice cream.

The best part of the day was spending it with my three favorite people.  (Even after a month of quarantine I can still say they are my favorite people.)  Cards in the mail, phone calls, texts, and Facebook messages all meant a little bit more this year, too.
